ABOUT THE EVENT
Welcome Annual Summit on Sexual Violence
The 2025 Annual Summit on Sexual Violence is an initiative dedicated to raising awareness, fostering respect, and peace in the community with a view to eradicating this type of aggression, where one in five women and one in 7 men will be victims of sexual violence at some point in their lives. This summit is designed to be a space for learning, reflection, and action, where expert professionals and leaders will share their knowledge and experiences to help raise awareness and promote change, providing resources, information, and support to individuals and families in our communities.

Our initiative
This event will feature a series of interactive workshops and a keynote lecture delivered by leading professionals working in the field of mental health and sexual violence prevention.
The keynote address will be presented by experts in the field of sexual violence, who will share their research, best practices, and recommendations for effectively addressing this issue within the community.
The Summit is aimed at educators, healthcare professionals, community leaders, parents, students, and anyone interested in learning more about how to prevent sexual violence and promote safety and well-being within the community.

The 2021, 2022 and 2024 events brought together national and international guests who developed various topics related to sexual violence and abuse.
Nuevo Sendero, Inc. is a public 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2007, with our headquarters in Orlando, Florida. The organization is primarily supported through volunteers and contributions from local supporters in our community.
We are dedicated to promoting and maintaining public awareness of domestic violence, sexual abuse and family relationships. These services are provided through education, family counseling, workshops and other special programs to the families and youth in our community. We primarily work with hispanic families of diverse backgrounds in several communities in Orange, Osceola and Volusia Counties.
The Summit is aimed at educators, health professionals, community leaders, parents, students and anyone interested in learning more about how to prevent sexual violence and promote safety and well-being within the Hispanic community.
This event is free. However, participants need to register online.
